Medical Care

In 2013, our team was serving in Uganda when team members realized the great need for basic medical care. The team rallied together supplies and we operated for several days under the shade. From bandaging wounds to treating common illnesses in the region, our team found a ministry that truly shows “hands of kindness”.
When we returned in 2014 and 2016, our team came prepared to operate a medical clinic for several days. What resulted was a massive outreach to a neighboring school. Our HOK Ministry employs Ugandan medical professionals to allow us to see over 600 children each year at the school. In 2014, the director of the school shared these words with Dr. Michael Okwakol, “Thank you for not forgetting our school.” They were aware of our presence in the previous year and they are grateful for our willingness to return each year to work in their school. Hundreds of kids annually see the love of Christ through “Hands of Kindness”.Medical Missions - Uganda2014

Each year, it is our prayer to expand our medical team and ministry. We regularly seek and prayerfully ask God to provide medical professionals with a calling to serve God in missions. God has been faithful in providing for that need over the last few years. Please consider this as a great ministry and extension of the gifts that God has given you!
